Stained Glass Sugar

What You Need:

  • Butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • Baking sheet
  • Frying pan

Instructions:

  1. Spread butter on a baking sheet and place it in the refrigerator.
  2. Pour 1 cup of sugar into a nonstick frying pan and heat it at a low temperature on the stovetop.
  3. Stir the sugar slowly to keep it from burning. The sugar will turn into a brown liquid, so keep stirring until all the lumps are gone.
  4. Pour the liquid sugar onto the cold baking tray.
  5. Let cool.
  6. You just made a candy window pane! Yum!
