What You Need:
- 1 cup of sugar
- Baking sheet
- Frying pan
- Spread butter on a baking sheet and place it in the refrigerator.
- Pour 1 cup of sugar into a nonstick frying pan and heat it at a low temperature on the stovetop.
- Stir the sugar slowly to keep it from burning. The sugar will turn into a brown liquid, so keep stirring until all the lumps are gone.
- Pour the liquid sugar onto the cold baking tray.
- Let cool.
