What You Need:
- 3 potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup cooking oil for frying
- Combine the potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, flour, and the baking powder.
- Pour the oil into a skillet, and heat the oil.
- Drop the mix in by spoonful into the hot oil.
- Fry on both sides, and drain any excess oil.
