Skylanders
Skylanders has been a favorite at our home since the first version came out. Hours of fun have been had by our family (yes, even Mom). The first version was the most difficult, but then Skylanders hit it’s stride with the second version being more fun and entertaining. That vibe continued in future versions. Our kids couldn’t get enough! One of the pros of this game is that it allows you to choose a difficulty level so that anyone can play and have fun. One of the cons is definitely the cost, if your kids want every figure and accessory. Thankfully, that isn’t necessary to play the game, and you can complete it with everything that comes in the starter pack. Extra characters and accessories allow you to do extra challenges, but again, you choose what you want to buy and what you don’t. The most current Skylanders game is Skylanders Imaginators, which allows players to create their own Skylanders characters.
