Black Magic

What You Need:

• An audience
• A helper

Instructions:

1. Tell the audience that you can figure out what object they are thinking of, using “black magic”.
2. Have a volunteer from the audience tell your helper the name of an object they have chosen from the surroundings.
3. Now the helper will ask you questions so you can determine what the object is, like “Is it the floor?”, “Is it the table?”, etc. You will keep saying “No” in response to your helper’s questions.
4. As soon as your helper asks you about an object that is black in color, you’ll know that the next object they ask about is the true object the volunteer chose! For example “Is it the black coffee mug?” (“No”), then “Is it the watch?” (“Yes!”).
