Marble Eggs

What You Need:

  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Large glass jar
  • Spoon
  • Crayon stubs
  • Vegetable grater
  • Hot water
  • Waxed paper or newspaper
  • Empty egg carton

Instructions:

  1. Grate peeled crayons over waxed paper.
  2. Fill a jar with very hot water. Drop bits of grated crayon into the water.
  3. Place your egg in the water just as the crayons begin to melt.
  4. Twirl the egg in the water with a spoon. The wax should make a design on the egg.
  5. Carefully remove the egg and set in an egg carton to dry.
