What You'll Need

3 large potatoes
3 eggs
1 Tablespoon sugar
Grated rind and juice of one lemon
Salt
Oil for frying

Kremslach (Czechoslovakian Latkes)

1. Peel and cook the potatoes in the microwave for 5-6 minutes.

2. Remove the potatoes and mash them until they're fairly smooth.

3. Let cool and add eggs, sugar, salt, lemon juice and rind.

4. Form into patties and fry until golden brown. Have an adult help you with the frying!
