What You'll Need

Fabric or felt
A plastic, foam, or ping-pong ball
An empty thread spool
Glue
Paint

Sitting Spools

1. Cut the fabric so that it will fit around the empty spool.

2. Glue the fabric in place.

3. Paint features on the ball and glue it on top of the spool. Let the glue dry.

4. Cut out arms, legs, hands, and feet with the fabric and felt. Glue the legs to the bottom front of the spool, and the arms to the sides.

5. Add extra accessories as desired.

6. Set it on a shelf or with other sitting spools so they can have friends!
