1. Choose one person to be "It."

2. The person who is "It" closes his or her eyes and spins around five times.

3. Someone calls out "blackout" and the person who is "it" runs around the room with his eyes shut, trying to tag one of the other players.

4. When someone is tagged, "It" yells "Blackout!" and the person he or she tagged is it.
