What You'll Need

Smooth rock
Paint
Paint brush

Rock Paperweight

1. Find a good rock that is heavy enough to hold down a sheet of paper on a breezy day, but not to heavy to carry around. The rock should also be smooth so it won't damage your paper.

2. Paint the rock. You can paint it as a creature, or paint designs on it.

3. Once the paint is dry, your paperweight is ready to use. Take your crafts or homework outside, and use the paperweight to keep any loose papers from blowing away!

Tip:
You can glue felt to the bottom of the paperweight to keep it from scratching your desk.
