What You'll Need

2 pencils
A friend

Invisible String #31

1. Get a friend to grab a pencil in each hand so that the erasers face each other.

2. Tell her to push the two pencils together as hard as she can.

3. Then, act as if you are rolling a piece of string around the two pencils and continue to do that for at least 30 seconds.

4. Tell her to slowly try to pull the two pencils away from each other. It will seem as if both pencils have been tied together!

Reason: The muscles in your arms tighten when you push the pencils together. After some time, the muscles get used to that position so it is hard to pull away.
