Tell your friends that you have a magical piece of string. It's magical because it's invisible!

1. Place a paper clip on a thin sheet of cardboard.

2. Hold a magnet under the cardboard so that it "grabs" on to the paperclip.

3. Pretend that there's a string attached to the paper clip and "pull" it across the cardboard. While pulling, move the magnet to make it look like the paper clip is being pulled.

Your friends will wonder where the string is!
