1. Set the thumbtack on a flat surface with the point facing up.

2. Carefully balance the center of the toothpick on the point of the thumbtack.

3. Place the cup over the thumbtack and the toothpick.

4. Blow up the balloon and rub it against your hair to "charge" it up with static electricity.

5. Move the balloon close to the plastic cup and slowly around it.

6. The toothpick moves without being touched!
